agree 100% with this

this is the sort of good guy thing America excels at. Its harder for our enemies to claim the US is evil when we do this sort of thing. lets see China, Russia, ISIS or any of the others do this.

Probably the best thing the Biden Admin has done so far.

Agree.

And clearly, Africa is racist.
The gap between vaccines haves and have-nots is vast. More than half the populations in the United States and Britain have had at least one dose, compared with fewer than 2 percent of people in Africa.

The Chinese have

You are correct that it's good that we're catching up, but as the article above states we're still behind the curve. Of course, we don't give them away with stipulations, like the Chinese do.

Chinese vax is 50% effective at best. It is known internationally and they covet our vaccines already. They were thinking about mixing all theirs up to try to get it more potent.

Yeah and like their “free” roads and other perks, ours don’t come with ridiculous strings

I guess employers can require vaccines now - right Doc?

It’s a bit weird how healthcare workers are fighting getting vaccinated

Outside my wheelhouse, but I'm guessing it depends on state law.

Well, the answer is "It depends." Federal law allows employers to require vaccinations (although reasonable accommodations still have to be made under the ADA in some cases), but a few states have passed laws prohibiting employers from requiring proof of vaccination. A lot of companies are still very hesitant to require proof, though.

And yes, it's weird that health care workers are fighting against it. You gotta figure 99% of them were the first to get the vaccine.
