I've owned 3 of those. They were awesome. Might get another when my current dogs pass on.

My first and she is a handful. She never tires of playing with toys, chasing the ball, swimming and mauling the cats.

Amazing. I have had two great danes and they were the sweetest dogs I've ever been around. The second was a couple of years old when I had my two sons. They would climb on her, pull her tail, poke her in the eyes, and she would just lick them.

That woman must have mistreated them terribly.

Yeah, I've been around several great danes and they were incredibly sweet and mellow. Any breed can turn violent when treated poorly, Danes are just so freakishly huge they can easily kill.

Not a bad reason to always be armed. At least with something you can stab it in the neck with

hahaha, it woke up suddenly and was startled and just nipped my hand, but it was so fast and those big jaws made me about poop my pants.

I didn't kill her though, my friend was jogging on a sidewalk, a car jumped up on the sidewalk and hit the dog and drove away. my friend was there covered in her dying dogs blood and no one would stop to help.

I've never had a dog. I don't think I have the patience to train one.
