I seem to remember awhile back that one or more of your wives was fighting breast cancer. 9508, were you one?

Yes sir. My wife ended up getting a double mastectomy. Fortunately, she did not need chemo or radiation. She is now doing a lot better, but it was a good year after her last surgery before she felt close to normal.

thanks, reb. chemo is a bitch. it isn't even the nausea with her. it's chronic fatigue and an incredibly awful taste in her mouth that makes it difficult to eat or drink anything without it tasting disgusting. She hit a bit of a breaking point today. needless to say, it's been stressful as hell

Damn, sorry to hear that, man. Hoping for the best.

I cannot begin to imagine the hell you and your wife are going through. Praying that the ordeal will be over soon.

Yeah, having watched someone go through chemo and radiation for almost a year, I can appreciate that. Stay strong, man. There are trying times ahead and she needs you and all of your strength.

I'll speak to The Man on you and the fam's behalf, more than once.

Do you have kids and how are they handling this?

My wife also had breast cancer but they caught it early. She had surgery in Jan to remove a one millimeter cancerous milk duct. No chemo but twenty radiation treatments. It was no fun but im glad they caught it early. The surgeon said it was the smallest she ever removed. Best of luck fish.

Sorry to hear that fish. I really hope for the best.

My wife had thyroid cancer, she has increased risk of breast cancer due to that and the fact her mother was just diagnosed.
