Little-known fact: when Apollo 13's oxygen tank blew up, he single-handedly re-inflated it with the air from his cheeks.

I had this playing for a bit this afternoon. I skipped ahead several times, but it's obviously days long. Pretty cool stuff, though.

I remember vividly two events from the 60s.

Watching the moon landing on a black and white tv with rabbit ears.

And being let go early from 5th grade when JFK was shot.

1st grade for me.

We were on the way to the mountains and my Dad took me to the battleship North Carolina. He was frustrated I wanted to crank the 40mmm cannons rather than listen to the landing. Which he did on a portable radio. Later we went to the motel and watched the first step on TV and then I was out. He was born before flight. He couldnt understand why i wasnt more awed.

Gotta be careful in Asheville to use the proper pronouns, and for God sakes don’t hold a door open for them, they get quite pissy, even more pissy when i chuckled at their hissy fit. Couldn’t help it.

A parked next to a chick like this awhile back who was struggling to change a tire. I asked if she needed help and she gave me with that attitude and said no. I just smiled and said ok, have a nice day. You could tell by her expression she regretted it immediately.

That kinda shit is stupid. I've seen guys who couldn't change a tire. That attitude makes me want to just say fuck being nice to everyone.

I hold doors open for everyone. Young, old, male, female. Has nothing to do with sexist bullshit

Agreed.

One time I was in LA... I held the door open for a lady, there was a guy half way across the lobby started almost a full sprint to get there while I was holding door. I promptly shut it in his face. Fuck that douche
