Starting day 4 of no copenhagen, no one has been murdered yet, but day is still young. Didn’t realize how much nicotine i was ingesting, equivalent of a 1.5-2 packs of Marlboro a day, no wonder i feel like dogshit. For some reason this is a harder withdrawal than previous times i quit, maybe this one will be for good.
Good luck. Been about 14-15 years since I quit Copenhagen. Used an herbal snuff for the first few months to help wean myself off of it.

Get to have shoulder surgery, prob next week, 3 of 4 rc muscles torn completely, bone damage to joint, though they think they can repair by grafting some material on the bone. Good news is its likely all arthroscopic, and likely not shoulder replacement

Fuuuuuck. Sorry man. Hope it isn't too painful. Not sure of your opinion on taking opioids.

I will take if absolutely necessary, but only if non narcotics don’t work. Never was a opioid user, but don’t take any chances.

Gotcha. Some recovering alcoholics won't take anything. I think they're nuts.

Yeah, I agree, we (us non md drunks) don’t ever need to advise anyone on medical issues. No shortage of crazy mf’rs in AA, but plenty of rational, good folks too.

Fuuuuckkkk, read the drs notes in my patient portal, more fd up than i understood it to be. Mentioned potentially irreparable, and massive trauma. Looks like I’m in for a doozy of a surgery

oh man, sorry Tommy. I had relatively minor shoulder surgery a few years ago and it was the must fucking pain I've ever had and frankly oxy got me thru it.

Day 5 no dipping, still no one has died, though i almost went Juggsy in traffic yesterday. Saving grace has been lowest level nic transdermal patch, slowing down the withdrawals somewhat, but I was taking in around 60-70mg of nic a day

aha I almost went hillbilly in whole foods the other day. don't you hate it when people don't put the divider behind their shit. Whole foods shoppers are the fucking worst. I couldn't reach the divider and asked the guy in front of me who wasn't unloading or bagging or anything just standing, and instead of putting it between our stuff he SLID it down the metal thing. I almost said "DON"T BREAK A SWEAT FUCKWAD" but had my earphones in so iddn't bother.

Why do I have baby shoes all over my computer desk? WHY!?

I'll admit, these glittery pink high tops are pretty cool. They go well with her Addidas track suit with pink stripes and letters. I just need to find a fake gold chain and a Kangaroo hat and we'll have freakin' Run DMBaby up in here.

This little girl wears my ass out.

Got surgery scheduled for 23rd, on top of list if there’s a cancellation earlier. Good news is there’s an experimental surgery, which ill be getting, that repairs the shoulder without shoulder replacement, its been highly successful, so will take my chances, though the risk is somewhat minimal. Maybe on opiates for a cpl days, could revive angry drunk table...

WTF January? Supposed to be worried about snow/ice right now... not tornadoes and up to 60 mph wind gusts. This is some bullshit.

On Fridays here if you have any OT they send you home early. One of the supervisors could not locate this one dude and some not so hot female. Someone thought they let them go early but that was not the case. Co-worker just walked in on them in a smaller conference room with his dick in her ass.
