It's not a blend of the two, a socialist government controls the means of production.
No democrat has ever suggested this. So Juggs, and Fox can just STFU about socialism right.

The only time we flirted with this was with Republican Richard Nixons Wage and Price controls in the 70s. They may not have controlled production but by controlling prices of the output the indirectly controlled output, man hours, equipment utilization, research, investment, etc.
I'm specifically addressing the crazy argument that we already have socialist programs. I don't know how the argument got started that the Military, Fire Department, Police Force are all socialist because they are paid for by government. It makes absolutely no sense at all. Again, Socialism requires that the government controls the means of production. Our government services are governed as a Republic, where those we elect decide where our tax dollars are allocated.

As for what Nixon did, I'd agree, taken it for what you have laid out. Sounds like a very stupid way to go.

Your point about the military applies to government health insurance, college for all and universal wage too though. Whether it meets some technical definition of some ism or not. It is all the same. Something we elect to do with money earned in society.(and let's not forget its mostly earned because we invested in a military, courts, police, roads, phones, mail, social security, etc in the past) We have government health insurance now. Do we want to extend it to other age groups for efficiency at the cost of competition. We have government college for some now, do we want to expand that. We pay the lowest wage earners now to prevent them from robbing and killing out of physical desperation. As the discrepancy between rich and poor skyrockets do we want to raise the threshold. Its not that today we are not a socialist country and tomorrow we are if we drop medicare from 65 to 55.

During Obama’s presidency, Trump was a frequent critic of Obama’s golf hobby. “Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf."

During his campaign for president, Trump claimed that he would be too busy working to have time for any vacations at all. “I love golf, but if I were in the White House, I don’t think I’d ever see Turnberry again. I don’t think I’d ever see Doral again,” he told a rally audience in February 2016. “I don’t ever think I’d see anything. I just want to stay in the White House and work my ass off.
Donald Trump’s presidential golf costs have topped $110 million in his 2 1/2 years in office – more than $4 million more than a conservative group’s estimate for predecessor Barack Obama’s total travel costs over two full terms.

Who is the viable candidate? In a few select areas Dem socialists will do fine in 95% of America they have no chance.

I was only referring to the video but I don't think any of the current commie candidates are viable in the general. They get a lot of play right now but they should wash out as the election gets closer.

Tulsi is in no way a commie because you can't find any way she is!

Self interest for the establishment to keep a person like Bernie from dividing the DNC. Not that it helps. They'll continue to eat their own so long as more and more liberals support socialism, but the rest of the Democrats are reasonable, moderate people who just want religious nutbaggery out of their government. The establishment DNC knows that the R's and D's work together to keep fucking the People while laughing behind our backs and line their pockets with the broken system. Bernie throws a wrench in that system.

Says me.

More wokeness:
According to WFTS-TV, two paramedics visited a McDonald's in Madeira Beach on Wednesday night, where an employee told each of them separately that they would not be served because they were wearing badges.

So why exactly can you be sued and/or destroyed for refusing to serve a gay or black person, but not first responders? Hatred is hatred.
