Trump orders the Border Patrol to knowingly break the law. And then promises pardons if they do. Clearly indicating that he knows his orders are criminal. Isn't that a crime? Isnt that a violation of his oath?
During President Donald Trump's visit to the border at Calexico, California, a week ago, where he told border agents to block asylum seekers from entering the US contrary to US law, the President also told the commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, Kevin McAleenan, that if he were sent to jail as a result of blocking those migrants from entering the US, the President would grant him a pardon, senior administration officials tell CNN.

If true, I would think so, and fucking scary if he's privately saying this to officials

Failing to defend the law of the land, passed by Congress signed by a president and supported by the Supreme Court, is bad enough, but joining in the lawsuit against the law of the land is... well... a complete violation of the constitution really.

The bottom line seems to be...

Everything in the Steel dossier was true. We knew that already. The lone exception was the pee pee tapes. There seems to be more evidence of that too. But at this point who cares. Trump has done much worse than get peed on and none of his supporters care.

The campaign met with Russians and asked for help, expected help and got help. But did not DIRECT the Russians, the apparent bar for "collusion"

Trump tried to obstruct justice on many occasions, but his staff simply did not carry out his orders. And thus
"The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President's corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law."

They thought Jr and the people at the meeting broke the law, but they didn't think they could get a conviction. Basically they couldn't get 12 people to agree on intent so don't try.

Pretty fucking clear that Barr has his tongue firmly inserted up trumps ass. The report is damning but this congress won’t do anything so it will be up to the voters.

Honestly, there isn’t much point in congress doing anything.

When the chair of the senate intel committee is sharing info with the person being investigated, it’s evident where impeachment lands.

All of this also distracts from a pretty simple point. Trump is a pretty awful President. No vision, no leadership, no direction, nothing beyond undo what Obama did. He’s easily manipulated by people on his staff and foreign entities. (Saudi Arabia, Russia, North Korea)

Agree, I figure any attempt at impeaching trump will probably backfire since dems have proven to be inept at hitting the softest of balls and you run the risk of riling up the natives. Just hope we get someone independents and moderates can get behind in the primaries
