Southport... that explains a lot. Some of the wife's family still lives in the area. Both her sisters are staying, one out on the beach just a half mile inland and the other in north bayou of the bay in Southport.
Camp Helen is awesome.Yeah she's a "recovering" meth head but grew up on the beach on both sides of Phillips Inlet.
My wife used to ride her horse from home to there all the time growing up. Her Parents and Grandparents owned the Bee Hive Hotel and Cafe.Camp Helen is awesome.Yeah she's a "recovering" meth head but grew up on the beach on both sides of Phillips Inlet.
That's what the news said over here. Said only mission critical personnel should report for duty, everyone else stay home.I heard a report that they flew out all the aircraft from Eglin AFB but didn't evacuate the personnel. True?
Yeah, but east of the base housing and flightline, luckily. The only things at the landfall spot are some firing ranges and the drone launch facility.Looks like it was a direct hit on Tyndall
Think they’re 35’ above sea levelWell the booger won't be flying out of there anytime soon. Those airstrips are under water now I'm sure
Tyndall has wetlands literally right beside at least 1 runway, which was flooding. I worked on a project to a few years ago to fix those problems about 3 years ago, but that certainly isn't going to keep a hurricane from flooding it.Think they’re 35’ above sea levelWell the booger won't be flying out of there anytime soon. And the volleyball net.Flew that drone right into the backboard
