FB post...a woman bitching about people bitching that they don't have power. Her husband is working 4am to 11pm and most GRU workers don't have power themselves!

Such the martyr.
That shit's grinding my gears right now. One chick posted "why hasn't FEMA given me money for a hotel room yet?"

one of my fb friends is mad he's paying more for gas because Houston got hit, he suggests making them move to North Dakota where hurricanes don't go. Because having the ton of pipelines necessary would be no problem and it never freezes.

We were almost F'ed for water in Gville. If the generator had run out of gas... no potable water for 45 days.

No water, no football games. Get it?

Jeez. It seems pretty negligent to operate one of these facilities without a plan for power outages.

The Caribbean is superfucked. Maybe as a positive outcome of this storm we depopulate islands with no/limited natural access to fresh water?

The damn indians wouldn't even live on St Martin.

Naaaaaaaah that would be stupid.

Barbuda is an excellent example, it appears that pretty much everything man made was destroyed. You have an entire island that is evacuated to another island and nothing to return too.

People have been on those islands for 5,000 years, this isn't the first time this has happened.
